What’s in a name?

Marlyn Publishing combines the author’s name Mark with that of his spouse of 57 years, Lynn. She is his partner, encourager and advisor.

Marlyn’s illustrator Dennis Packard

Dennis Packard has worked in the screen printing industry for more than 37 years. He holds a Fine Arts degree from Edinboro University. Dennis has collaborated with the author before, but Bronson’s Flood is their first children’s picture book. Dennis resides in Edinboro, PA, with his wife Susan and their Golden Retriever, Dougal.

Marlyn’s children’s book editor Kellie Hultgren

Kellie M. Hultgren, a children’s book editor from Minneapolis, was terrifically encouraging and helpful in the editing and layout for Bronson’s Flood and two other children’s books that are in production.

Marlyn’s technology specialist John Kahler

John Kahler is a media, communications and technology specialist who has worked at non-profit institutions, two regional tv/radio stations, in healthcare and as a media person at the University of Pennsylvania. John and Mark first met at The Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia, where John first managed the seminary’s media center and then succeeded Mark as Director of Communications. He now works as a freelance video producer, photographer, web developer and more, mainly for non-profit organizations.
